Fashion Design Contest: "Neo-Japonisme"

A main part of the week is the Fashion Design Contest. The theme is "Neo-Japonisme." Designers use this idea to show modern Japanese style. They use AI to build images from their thoughts.

Submission details:

• Eligibility: Any participant from near and far may join.
• Submission period: May 1st to May 21st, 2025.
• Prizes:
  • Grand Prize: ¥200,000 for the best work.
  • Runner-Up Prizes: Two awards of ¥50,000 each.
• Announcement of winners: Winners come out in early July 2025. ### Seminar Series: The Future of AI in Fashion

A series of talks covers AI in fashion. The seminar is called "The Future of AI and Fashion #5." Toru Ueda, CEO of OpenFashion, leads the talk. Other experts join him on stage. Attendees hear real examples of brands that use AI for design and marketing. They get clear ideas about AI platforms like MaisonAI. The talk happens during the 1st Tokyo Textile Scope 2026 Spring/Summer event. A lively talk forms between tech work and textile work.

Interactive Experience: MaisonAI

Guests can try MaisonAI, an AI platform by AuthenticAI. In this part, a visitor writes text for a design. The system makes an image from the text. Visitors save images to their phones with QR codes.

• Location: The same venue as the seminar.
• Hours: 10 AM to 5 PM on the first two days, and until 4 PM on the final day.
• Cost: Free.
