Unisize Launches New FaceChange AI for Better Online Shopping

FaceChange showed strong gains from its start in Japan in 2023. Clients saw a fourfold rise in sales soon after. Survey feedback from 2,572 participants between September 27, 2024, and March 13, 2025, reveals that shoppers feel more at ease. One user said, "Before, items sometimes did not match my view or fit well. With this tool, I clearly see the item with my own face."

This launch shows Makip’s steady push in UK online trade. FaceChange aims to bring online shopping closer to in-store shopping. It gives buyers a feel that is usually saved for physical shops.
Tsukamoto added, "As FaceChange AI grows, Unisize will adjust body shapes and features for each user. This change brings a more tailored online experience. It will help sales and cut clothing returns for buyers and sellers."
Founded in 2015, Makip now works with more than 300 online retail sites. It partners with well-known fashion brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Lacoste.
